For me the best way to have fun in the park involves my family and my camera. So when Mia wanted to go spend sometime in the park I grabbed my camera and hoped to be able to get a decent photo or two.
I was pretty pleased with this one of Mia jumping off the wall because I got it on the first try. Typically a shot like this would take three, four or more attempts to get the shutter speed, lighting, composure and camera movement just right.
In addition to jumping, climbing a tree turned out to be another good photo opportunity. Although I don't shoot much video, I had to get a short one of Mia working on her cartwheels and splits. The improvement she has shown since she started cheer classes has been dramatic and quite fun to watch.
